Job Brief

The Digital Marketing Manager will develop, implement, track, and optimize our digital marketing campaigns across all digital channels. A Digital Marketing Manager will be responsible for maintaining the brand’s online presence and sales by managing and executing various marketing campaigns. His/her duties will include researching, strategizing with other professionals and creating content for successful campaigns. Moreover, He/ She is expected to understand the company’s marketing needs, develop marketing plans, and, most importantly, work on restructuring the marketing department for GS1 Egypt.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Developing and implementing digital marketing strategies, including social media advertising, email marketing, display ads, Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Search Engine Marketing (SEM) and Pay Per Click (PPC)
  • Building and maintaining a brand’s presence across multiple social media channels
  • Creating, executing, and monitoring marketing campaign budgets
  • Collaborating with media and sales teams to improve marketing results.
  • Measuring key performance metrics, including website traffic, audience engagement, service quotas, bounce rate and ad spend return on investment.
  • Coordinating with the digital marketing team to identify innovative growth strategies.
  • Preparing reports on the performance of marketing campaigns.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • BS/MS degree in marketing or a related field
  • Average 5 to 8 years of experience in the Digital Marketing function.

Preferred Skills

  • Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that are engaging, informing, and motivating the target audience.
  • Have solid experience with A/B and multivariate experiments, website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Net Insight, Omniture, and Web Trends) and experience in optimizing landing pages and user funnels and setting up and optimizing Google AdWords campaigns.
  • Up to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement.
